In this session, Jan Pettersson, System Specialist at Umeå University, shares tips on how to suppress false alerts for specific cases when monitoring with SCOM. For example, when a new IIS website is setup but not enabled, SCOM will alert on it being down, but as the site is not enabled there is no expectation it will be operational.
