Code of Conduct

We expect everyone who attends SCOMathon in any capacity to treat each other well. All attendees, speakers and sponsors at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct.

Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect co-operation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Code of Conduct

SCOMathon is committed to providing a harassment-free experience to everyone.

We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of conference participants in any form whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to: offensive expressions related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity or religion as well as any sustained deliberate disruption of talks throughout the conference. This applies to verbal or written forms and includes images, videos, GIFs, sounds or any other form of communication.

It also covers repeated disruption of talks and panels throughout the event, including the main conference webinars, Caf├ęs, breakouts, Slack channels or social media accounts.

We also reserve the right to interrupt deliberate sales pitches by any non-sponsoring vendor. The only pre-approved vendor sessions will be by Microsoft, SquaredUp, NiCE and Cookdown as part of the main agenda.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all times. Those asked to stop are expected to comply immediately. Refusal or recurrence will result in immediate expulsion from the conference. SCOMathon is an open and inclusive event that embraces all members of the SCOM community. Please contribute actively and positively to the atmosphere. Thank you.
